How many executors should I have?

You can have a sole Executor (e.g. your spouse/partner) but if you select this option we strongly advise that you select at least one replacement Executor in case your first choice Executor dies.

You can appoint up to four people to act as your Executors. If you choose a well established solicitor such as Ford & Warren Solicitors, to act as your executor then you will not need to appoint a replacement executor as the firm will continue to practice.

Making an online will with Q-will gives you the option to appoint executors and replacement executors.
